Bhediya Twitter Review: Audience Loved The Concept, Comic Timings & VFX

Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon starrer Bhediya has been released today in the theaters. Bhediya basically a warewolf- is a supernatural creature, around which the entire film revolves. 

Bhediya is the story of a young man who is bitten by a wolf on a rather unique night which turns him into a shape-shifting wolf and creates trouble for him. Dinesh Vijan's Bhediya is the third installment of his horror-comedy universe, after Stree in 2018 and Roohi in 2021. Amar Kaushik directed the film. Varun Dhawan plays the role of warewolf, whereas Kriti Sanon is shown as Vet. Both actors' looks are very different from their previous films. 

As the film is already up in theaters and several netizens have watched it gave their opinion on Twitter. Here are a few of them, one can read and decide whether to watch the film or not.

A user speaking about the dark genre and infusion of comedy said, "Harmless entertainer. It is engaging throughout with some hilarious scenes, suspense & good VFX work. Varun Dhawan is superb as a werewolf & a likable." 

Another user talking about the VFX and performances of Varun Dhawan as Bhediya tweeted, "The transformation scene from #Bhediya is the best scene of the decade. He is an actor who can transform from a comic character to an intense one within a fraction of a second. Watch this Creature Comedy today. It’s a visual treat on BIG SCREEN."

"Bhediya is a whole lot of fun! A proper big-screen entertainer with a few cool surprises, lots of hilarious lines, and some nifty & well-done special effects", said the third user. 

The film seems to be a comedy but has a social message to give. What it is that film will only tell. However, one of the users tweeted, "Film exceptional in delivering social msg with wit lifted by well-done script & storyline. Tickles throughout melt u in d end. A new dawn in Indian cinema!"

One user examining the performances of actors wrote, "Amar Kaushik utilises the acting skills of Varun Dhawan and the ensemble to the fullest …KritiSanon is exceptional."'

Movie also received a few negative reviews in certain areas. According to a user, the concept and VFX are great, Varun, Abhishek, and Paalin are a fun trio. Kriti is delightful. However, it was too predictable and the pace was a tad slow.

Another user wrote, "2nd half is better. Thodu sa emotional thodu sa funny aur thoda jyada predictable. Bhediya wale scenes hi maze dete hai. Overall THIK hai (It was a bit emotional and predictable, Bhediya scenes are only fun ones)."

To sum it up, as per Twitter users film seems to be in a positive light. The audience enjoyed the concept, comic timing, and the message it tries to give. Bhediya seems to be a combo of humour & horror. The film offeres to be hilarious and entertaining, at the same time VFX is a treat to watch.
