She added, “Around the world women are uniting in protest against the Iranian government by cutting their hair.”
Rautela signed off by writing, “Once women come together and consider one women’s issue as an issue for the entire womankind, feminism will see a new vigour”.
In an earlier post, Rautela compared herself to Amini and spoke about being "bullied" after netizens trolled her for stalking cricketer Rishabh Pant. The trolling continued as people teased the actor using Pant's name.
She had written, "They're bullying me as a stalker??? No one cares about me or support me."
People slammed Rautela for comparing her situation to the situation of women being killed in Iran. One user wrote, "I don't think it's wise to compare problems here. Iranian women are going through so much what they are going is much more serious. They are overcoming centuries of oppression and demanding for basic human rights. Innocent lives have been lost."
Another called her an "attention seeker" and added, "that's (attention) what you want at any cost."
Rautela mentioned that she was being "bullied" after netizens joked she was stalking Pant, who was also in Australia for the T20 World Cup.
