Urvashi Dholakia Undergoes Neck Surgery To Remove Tumour: Details Here

Actor Urvashi Dholakia, famous for her portrayal of Komolika in Kasautii Zindagii Kay, recently underwent neck surgery and is presently recuperating at Mumbai's Nanavati Hospital. She disclosed the discovery and successful removal of a small tumour from her neck.

Dholakia, the winner of Bigg Boss Season 6, issued a statement regarding her surgical procedure. Speaking about her health, she said," I had to undergo surgery as a tumour (cyst) was diagnosed in the neck in early December 2023. My surgery is successful and now I have been advised to rest for 15 to 20 days." Her son, Kshitij, shared a video of her at the hospital and posted other clips from her room.

In a recent revelation, the actor spoke about her divorce from Anuj Sachdeva and shared her inability to find true love following her separation at the age of 18. Urvashi Dholakia, who married at 16 and became a mother to twin sons at 17, discussed her acceptance of not finding genuine love.

During an interview with Siddharth Kannan, she addressed the subject of romantic attention after her return to the industry post-divorce. She mentioned that while people showed interest, she remained focused and would categorise many as friends. Any hint of ulterior motives prompted her to swiftly halt such connections. She emphasised her belief that only parents are capable of wholehearted love, expressing her perspective that others could only love in fragments. "Obviously, along the way, people feel attractions, but I was too focused. I would friend-zone a lot of people. Whenever I got the sense that they had ulterior motives, I would put a stop to it right there. I was very clear.  The truth is, nobody has loved me. They have loved me in bits and pieces, but what they didn’t understand was that they were also loved in bits and pieces. Nobody can love you wholly. I believe only parents can love you wholly."

Urvashi Dholakia stepped into acting at the age of 6 with a TV commercial alongside Revathi. Her early roles on television include portraying Rajlaxmi in the Doordarshan series Shrikant. She began her adult TV career with the role of Shilpa in Doordarshan's Dekh Bhai Dekh, followed by Waqt Ki Raftar.

Throughout her career, she has featured in various shows such as Ghar Ek Mandir, Kabhii Sautan Kabhi Saheli, Mehendi Tere Naam Ki, and Kahin Toh Hoga, among others.
