Having witnessed half of the spectacle that 2022 had to offer, the audience is now looking forward to much fanfare in the second half. Thus far, the range of web shows has impressed viewers causing even the streaming platforms to crash. One can only wonder what's to come next cause the upcoming web series releases will lighten up the OTT space as different genres come together to entertain the audience.

There are many popular web series on OTT that are expected to make a comeback in July. Shows like Made In Heaven, Four More Shots Please, Bhuvan Bam's Taaza Khabar and other shows are expected to come out on OTT in July. We have curated a list of the shows that have announced their release dates and look promising and we believe you should definitely give these shows a watch.

10 Upcoming Web Series In July

Dahaad

Sonakshi Sinha's crime thriller web series titled Dahaad will release on July 27, 2022, on Amazon Prime Video. The show stars Vijay Verma, Sohum Shah and Gulshan Devaiah alongside Sinha. The story revolves around a female police officer played by Sonakshi who investigates a murder case that shook her and gets on a mission to catch a serial killer. The Reema Kagti directorial is said to be based on true events involving a conman who used to fraud women into marrying him.

Jaadugar

After a successful season 2 of Panchayat, Jitendra Kumar will next be seen playing a magician who performs in a small town in this Netflix film. The show is about his love story and the events that unfold after he has to win a local football match with a not-so-great team in order to be able to marry his lady love. The show also features Jaaved Jaaferi and Arushi Sharma in pivotal roles and releases on July 15.

Koffee With Karan Season 7

The controversial, often interesting and full-of-gossips chat show by famous Bollywood director and producer Karan Johar will be back with its season 7. Earlier, Karan denied the possibility of a season 7 until it was announced shortly after his statement. The show will see stars like Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Vijay Deverakonda, Jhanvi Kapoor and other celebs are reportedly going to be a part of the show this season which releases on July 7 on Disney Plus Hotstar.

Modern Love Hyderabad

The second anthology in the Modern Love franchise Indian edition, Modern Love Hyderabad will be a six-part series that will cover the love stories of the city. Packed with a cast of Nithya Menen, Ritu Varma, Suhasini Maniratnam, Revathy, Aadhi Pinisetty, Ulka Gupta and Malavika Nair in pivotal roles. The show releases on July 8 on Amazon Prime Video. Not much is revealed of the plot in the teaser that was released recently but the vibes of the show seemed soothing and vibrant.

Miya Biwi Aur Murder

Rajeev Khandelwal is back with an interesting story starring along with Manjari Fadnnis in this crime thriller and dark comedy by Sunil Manchanda. The story of the show revolves around an unfaithful marriage and a dysfunctional couple who finds it hard to get along, However, when they get stuck in a situation where they need to fight for their lives, they must join forces and work as a team to get out of it. The show releases on MX Player on July 1.

Shoorveer

Disney Plus Hotstar's military drama series Shoorveer is all ready to release on OTT. The show is about a group of soldiers that are trained as an elite task force who will become the country's first responder team to national security threats. The series starring Regina Cassandra, Makarand Deshpande, Abhishek Saha and others in pivotal roles is full of emotions and drama and will start streaming on July 15.

Chutzpah

Releasing on July 23 on SonyLiv, this upcoming web series stars Varun Sharma, Tanya Maniktala, Kshitij Chauhan, Gautam Mehra, Manjot Singh and Elnaaz Norouzi in pivotal roles. The show created by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba is about a group of people whose lives are largely dependent on the Internet. The show follows the life stories of five such people revealing the dark and problematic side of the internet.

Saas, Bahu, Aachar Pvt Ltd

A spicy as well as an emotional story from the streets of Chandni Chowk, this series features a woman's journey to start her own economic venture after her divorce which is also a way to win back her children from her ex-husband. She explores a new way of life after divorce and her mother-in-law has an important role to play. Catch this series featuring Amruta Subhash and Yamini Das in lead roles on Zee5 from July 8.

Masaba Masaba 2

Designer Masaba Gupta is returning on Netflix with season 2 of her show along with her mother Neena Gupta. The teaser of the series featured Masaba taking a pregnancy test that has got the fans talking about what the new season may hold. We don't know whether Masaba is pregnant or not but one thing that is sure is that the series will feature the mother-daughter duo facing new highs and lows dealing with many emotions and love interests. The series releases on July 29.

Gone Game 2

Season two of this crime thriller starring Sanjay Kapoor, Shweta Tripathi, Shriya Pilgaonkar and Arjun Mathur in pivotal roles will feature interesting leads on Sahil's death which earlier was dubbed as caused by COVID-19 but later his wife was suspected of his murder. However, the new season hints at Sahil being alive and hiding and a Rs 300 crore scam that might have a connection with Sahil faking his death. Get all your answers on Voot Select from July 7.
