Importance of World Environment Day

World Environment Day comes every year to remind us about the importance of saving the environment and, hence, humanity. People share compelling content with a call to action on social media about creating an environmentally sustainable society. But how many of these folks practice sustainability, recycling, conserving water, and reducing air and noise pollution?

World Environment Day must not be reduced to mere tokenism. It should be considered as a reminder that with each passing day, the environment is deteriorating. It should encourage people to start practicing sustainability from today before it is too late. The Grandma understands the importance of saving the environment and is doing her best to contribute to it. What are you doing?
