On Tuesday, Netflix released the trailer for Tooth Pari: When Love Bites. The series cast Tanya Maniktala and Shantanu Maheshwari (Gangubai Kathiawadi-fame). The web series is directed by Pratim Dasgupta and set against the backdrop of Kolkata, Tooth Pari narrates the love story of a vampire and a human. Following Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani (2010–2011), a vampire TV serial that was inspired by The Vampire Diaries and The Twilight Saga, "Tooth Pari" seems to be a refreshing watch.

The ">trailer opens with Rumi (Tanya Maniktala), a vampire, paying a visit to a human dentist, Roy (Shantanu Maheswari), to get her broken "fang" fixed. Roy is confident that he’ll be able to fix it for her. As romance blossoms between the two, Roy discovers that Rumi is a vampire. Although initially terrified, Roy loves Rumi. However, the two are from different worlds, and the forces of both worlds don’t seem to want the couple to unite. Towards the end of the trailer, Roy asks Rumi to promise that she won’t bite anyone, to which she obliges. Will the love story between a vampire and a human have a happy ending?
The trailer looks mystical, thrilling, and filled with an air of mystery. With a solid performance, strong casting, and an exciting background score, the trailer looks promising.
