The beloved Hollywood actor Julia Roberts is making her comeback in the romantic comedy genre with the new film Ticket To Paradise with George Clooney as her co-star. The film also stars Kaithyn Dever as Roberts and Clooney's daughter. Julia Roberts was last seen with George Clooney in Ocean's Eleven.

Ticket To Paradise has been directed by Ol Parker who also helmed the famous movies like The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel and Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again. Hence it is natural for fans to expect a party themed romantic comedy. The trailer of the film raised the expectations.

As per the glimpse of the film shown in the trailer, Dever's character is on a post-graduation trip in Bali and her parents, who are divorced for a long time, will join in the celebrations reluctantly. During her time in Bali, Dever decides to marry a local and that is why her parents visit her to make her change her mind. In the trailer, Clooney and Roberts are seen bickering like the typical divorced couple but they join forces for their daughter.

The script of the film has been written by Ol Parker and Daniel Pipski together. The main cast Roberts and Clooney have also produced the film with Deborah Balderstone, Eric Fellner, Tim Bevan, Marisa Yeres Gill, Sarah Harvey, Lisa Roberts Gillian and Grant Heslov. The film has also been bankrolled by Smokehouse Pictures, Red Om Films, Working Title Films with Universal Picture which is handling distribution of the film.

The film is not only releasing in theatres on October 21 this year but it will also streaming online after 45 days of its theatre premiere. Fans can watch the film online on Peacock.
