Ares and Raquel are back with their steamy chemistry and heart-fluttering romance. However, things seem to be heading towards a storm as three new characters enter the Through My Window sequel and they look like they are here with trouble.
The Spanish young adult film Through My Window was released on Netflix in February 2022. Based on the novel of the same name written by Ariana Godoy, the movie featured the relationship between neighbours Ares and Raquel, whose worlds are poles apart but strongly attracted to each other.
What begins as something casual and fun turns into a heart-aching romance that makes the movie a roller coaster ride. After the immense success of the film worldwide, the makers announced that there will be a sequel to the film, taking Ares and Raquel's story further. On Tuesday, Netflix released an update on the sequel.

Through My Window Across The Sea Release Date
Netflix released a 55-second long ">video titled Date Announcement in which we can see the main couple of the story, Ares and Raquel, all lovey-dovey and romantic as they sit by the side of the pool. We see the other couples in the film, Ares’s two brothers, Apollo and Artemis, with their partners, Daniela and Claudia respectively chilling along with Raquel's friend Yoshi. The vibes are sensuous and calm when a knock is heard. A door opens, revealing three new characters into the Through My Window universe.
These three new characters will be played by actors Carla Tous, Iván Lapadula and Andrea Chaparro and Julio Pena, Clara Galle, Hugo Arbues, Eric Masip, Natalia Azahara, Emilia Lazo and Guillermo Lasheras reprising their roles from the first film. The first movie ended with Raquel mustering up the courage to publish her story and confessing her love to Ares. The second film will reportedly feature the struggles that the couple goes through to maintain a long-distance relationship. The story will be set in the backdrop of Catalonia.
Through My Window will be having two sequels, the first of which is titled Across The Sea and will release on June 23, 2023, on Netflix.
