When Is The Umbrella Academy Season 3 Premiere Date ?

The Umbrella Academy season 3 premiere date is finally here after a long wait of 2 long years. The academy is back with its superhero children who are here to investigate the death of their father.

The Umbrella Academy is a Universal Cable Productions work and is created by Steve Blackman. The first two seasons of the series were released in 2019 and 2020 respectively. The episodes of season 3 will be directed by Jeff F King and Steve Blackman. The season 3 shooting was delayed due to Covid-19 but the season will finally be back to OTT this Summer. The series is about 43 children who were born under strange circumstances on the same day and time to mothers who did not show any signs of pregnancy. Out of these, 7 kids with superpowers are adopted by a businessman and The Umbrella Academy is formed.

The Umbrella Academy Season 3 Premiere Date

After going through a roller coaster of events in season 2, the six Hargreeves superhero children found themselves in a different dimension where they saw Reginald Hargreeves and Ben still alive and the existence of The Sparrow Academy in the place of The Umbrella Academy. In season 3, the siblings will probably be looking for the events that led to the change of scene in this reality while they discover more about The Sparrow Academy.

The screenplay for the season 3 is written by Steve Blackman, Michelle Lovretta, Jesse McKeown, Robert Askins, Aeryn Michelle Williams, Elizabeth Padden and Lauren Otero. The official trailer of the season 3 was released in May 2022 and another teaser clip about The Sparrow Academy was released on June 6, 2022. The returning cast in this season includes Justin H Min, Ritu Arya, Ken Hall, Adam Godley and Jordan Claire Robbins along with the regulars Elliot Page, Aidan Gallager, Robert Sheehan, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Davide Castaneda, Colm Feore and Tom Hopper.

The 10 episode long season 3 will release on Netflix on June 22, 2o22. The episodes episodes are titled "Meet The Family", "The World's Biggest Ball Of Twine", "Pocket Full Of Lightening", "Kugelblitz", "Kindest Cut", "Marigold", Auf Wiedersehen", "Wedding at the End of the World", "Six Bells" and "Oblivion" and will be released all at once on OTT at the usual release time which is at 12 midnight IST.
