The much-anticipated wait for the film 'The Kerala Story' is almost over since the teaser announcement of the film was made earlier this year. The makers of the film released the teaser recently, and it's heartbreaking, to say the least. The film is produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah. It narrates a shocking story of not one but thirty-two thousand women who not only were abducted, trafficked and mistreated but were also converted to another religion and eventually pushed into terrorism with the motive of sending them to the organisation ISIS.
The Kerala Story teaser gives a peek into the horrific account of how thousands of women in God's own country went missing and were pushed to become ISIS terrorists.
The film, which was released in the theatres recently, has already sparked controversy as many people have asked for the screening to be banned as it hurts religious sentiments. The Kerala HC, which has been hearing the plea for the same refused to stop the film's screening and stated that the film has nothing to do with hurting Islamic sentiments.

The Kerala Story Teaser revelations
The teaser of the film offers a slight revelation of what's to come when the film is released. Nothing short of gut-wrenching, the teaser showcases a short introduction of a woman, Fatima Ba (played by Adah Sharma). Fatima Ba is seen sharing her horrid life story of how she wanted to become a nurse and serve humanity but was forced to convert, become an ISIS terrorist, and end up in jail in Afghanistan. Actor Adha Sharma, who last appeared in the film Commando, shared the teaser on her social media. "Heartbreaking and gut-wrenching stories of 32000 females in Kerala," she wrote.
The film will be surfacing some hard realities coming from a state that is popularly called god's known country. It is evident from the teaser that the story will explore the onset of how the lives of thousands of women were changed, detailing a backdrop of the tortures they endured which led them to either lose their lives or end up in jail.
Her character Fatima Ba is seen narrating her experience in the teaser where she says, "My name was Shalini Unnikrishnan. I wanted to become a nurse and serve people. Now, I'm Fatima Ba, an ISIS terrorist in Afghanistan Jain. I'm not alone, 32000 women are already converted and are now buried in the deserts of Syria and Yemen. A highly dangerous regime of ruining a normal girl's life and making her a deadly terrorist is taking place in Kerala, and too openly. Will no one stop this? This is my story, this is the story of those 32000 women."
The film is directed by Sudipto Sen who is known for films like Lucknow Times, The Last Monk and Aasma. The film is all set to release on November 30.
