The Flight Attendant season 2 is all set to premiere with 2 episodes on April 21, 2022, on HBO Max. Renewed back in 2020, soon after its premiere in season 1. The cast from season 1 is all set to return to screens as well.
The Flight Attendant is based on a Chris Bohjalian book, which follows the life of Cassie played by Kaley Cuoco. This dark comedy series highlights the life of a flight attendant whose life turns awry after a one-night stand ends up fatal, without a recollection of how it happened. This mystery pulls her into a CIA investigation, an assassination mission, and more shady situations. The first season was widely received and the show was renewed, shortly after for season 2.
The Flight Attendant Season 2 Cast: What We Know About The Season
The filming for season 2 reportedly began in September 2021. The shooting took place in various different locations including Germany, Los Angeles, Berlin, and Reykjavik. Series lead Kaley Cuoco teased her fans from a set of pictures from the shoots. HBO Max had earlier teased the fans about the return of season 2 in a sizzle reel.
The Flight Attendant Season 2 Cast: Who's Coming Along For The Ride
The series lead Kaley Cuoco will be returning to season 2 reprising her role as Cassie Bowden along with Zosia Mamet as Annie, Griffin Matthews as Shane, Deniz Akdeniz as Max, and Rosie Perez as Megan. Guest Stars from season 1, T.R. Knight as Davey, Yasha Jackson as Jada, and Audrey Grace Marshall as young Cassie will also be returning to season 2.
Season 2 will also be welcoming new cast members on board. As the storyline is all set to shift focus on the estranged mother-daughter relationship, Actor Sharon will be seen playing Cassie's mother, Lisa Bowden. Additionally, Mo McRae will be hopping on the Flight Attendant bandwagon as CIA officer Benjamin Berry, Callie Hernandez will play Gabrielle Diaz, and J.J. Soria will star as her partner, Esteban.
Additionally Actors Cheryl Hines, Jessie Ennis, Mae Martin, Margaret Cho, Santiago Cabrera, and Shohreh Aghdashloo will also join the series in season 2 as recurring characters, but details about their roles are still unknown. The synopsis about season 2 from HBO states-“Season two finds Cassie Bowden (Kaley Cuoco) living her best sober life in Los Angeles while moonlighting as a CIA asset in her spare time. But when an overseas assignment leads her to inadvertently witness a murder, she becomes entangled in another international intrigue.” With the premiere date announced fans won't have to wait long to watch this much-awaited season on their screens soon.
