As The Family Man will be back on the OTT platform of Amazon Prime very soon, the Indian digital platform announced its trailer launch on May 19, Wednesday.
The new season of the spy thriller in which Manoj Bajpayee, in the role of Srikant Tiwari, plays an undercover spy with a family and struggles to balance his secret work life and family. Bajpayee is back in the second season with a multifaceted rendition and this time, the struggle is reported to more intense because apart from his work-family balance, he will also face a new nemesis Raji, essayed by Samantha Akkineni.

The caption claims that the audience will experience unexpected revelations and twists and will be "unpredictable" and "unimaginable".
Family Man 2: The Cast
Along with South superstar Samantha Akkineni, who will make her digital debut with the series, the cast Padma Shree recipient Manoj Bajpayee, Priyamani, Sharib Hashmi, Seema Biswas, Darshan Kumar, Sharad Kelkar, Sunny Hinduja, Shreya Dhanwantary, Shahab Ali, Vedant Sinha and Mahek Thakur.
The series will feature talent from all over the country and will see a diverse cast, also including Mime Gopi, Ravindra Vijay, Devadarshini Chetan, Anandsami and N Alagamperumal.
The much-awaited series is produced by D2R Films and will launch in over 240 countries and territories on the Amazon Prime platform.
South Indian actor, Akkineni is a recipient of four Filmfare Awards, two Nandi Awards, four South Indian International Movie Awards, and three CineMAA Award. Mostly known for Theri and A Aa, she last appeared in the upcoming romance movie Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal.
Her appearance in the role of Bindu for the South movie Makkhi was loved by the entire character as she portrayed herself as a naive character, contrasting to the strong characters she is mostly known for.
