The project starring Madhuri Dixit which was earlier named Finding Anamika has got a new name and a new release date. The thriller drama series starring the Ek Do Teen diva will now be called The Fame Game which will see her debut as the actor on the OTT platform.

1. The series will be streamed on Netflix from February 25, 2022, as announced by the streaming service and the actors today on social media platforms. 

2. The story portrays the life of a Bollywood icon by the name of Anamika Anand who has everything to her disposal and has the "perfect" starry life for everyone to think.

3. In the world of fame, power, and stardom, the series takes up the question of whether she has the life as it is made to be believed?

4. The thriller series has been created by Sri Rao, the producer, director, writer based in New York. He is more famously known for his works like Baar Baar Dekho, New York, Badmaash Company.

5. The Fame Game is produced by Apoorva Mehta, Somen Mishra, and Karan Johar under the banner of Dharmatic Entertainment Private Limited (the digital content company by Dharma Productions).

6. Directed by Bejoy Nambiar, the Indian director known for his works Taish, Wazir, Karwaan, and Karishma Kohli who has worked for short movies like The Woman Under The Tree, the series also portrays the life of a superstar's life beyond camera. 

7. The show was earlier announced in 2019 when it was an untitled project. However, in September 2021, the OTT platform released a " target="_blank" rel="noopener">teaser by the name Finding Anamika.

8. Dixit is shown as the glamorous star who has risen to fame and on being asked What is it like being Anamika Anand, she says- "Honestly, even after all these years I still can't believe its true. This life. I feel very blessed. Touchwood."

9. Along with Madhuri Dixit, the cast includes Sanjay Kapoor, Manav Kaul, Suhasini Muley, Lakshvir Saran, and Muskkaan Jaferi. 

10. Dixit was last seen in the movie Kalank as Bahar Begum along with Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Sanjay Dutt. She also serves as a judge for the dance reality show Dance Deewane.
