Everything You Need To Know About 'The Archies' Indian Adaptation Cast

Archies has gone desi and nothing can make Indian fans happier. Zoya Akhtar and Netflix bring you The Archies, the Indian adaptation of the popular American comics. A fun-filled adventure with the live Indian versions of Veronica Lodge, Archie Andrews, Betty Cooper and Jughead Jones in the backdrop of Riverdale.

The Archies Indian adaptation cast includes some fresh new faces of star kids that will soon be debuting in the Hindi film industry. The show's teaser was released on May 14, 2022. Here are all the cast members and the roles they will be playing in the show.

The Archies will feature the regular characters taking up daily life challenges in a desi way. The Hindi adaptation stars Agastya Nanda, grandson of actor Amitabh Bachchan and son of Shweta Bachchan as the male lead Archie Andrews.

Bard Of Blood and Super 30 actor Mihir Ahuja will reportedly be playing Jughead Jones in the show while Suhana Khan, Shah Rukh Khan's daughter, will play Veronica Lodge. Khushi Kapoor, Jhanvi Kapoor's sister and Sridevi's younger daughter will play Betty Cooper in the adaptation.

The series also stars Dot, also known as Aditi Dot, who is a singer and songwriter in real life. She is the daughter of Amit Saigal, a late rock musician who founded Rock Street Journal, India's first rock music magazine. This will also be Vedang Raina's debut where he will be seen playing an important in the show. The show also features Yuvraj Menda. However, nothing is revealed about the characters they will be playing in the adaptation.

The teaser of the show was released 0n May 14 and looked really promising. The characters were seen out in the woods playing around with each other and showcasing their bond. The teaser also featured a Hindi song playing in the background. Earlier, Dot took to her Instagram to post a story where she mentioned that she has participated in the soundtrack production for the show. She wrote, "Soooo I wrote some music and sung some songs for #thearchies, a film by @zoieakhtar. Oh..and also... I'm in it" The show is set to release in 2023.
