Telugu and Tamil April 2022 releases include the names of some much awaited films that will finally be hitting the theatres in the coming month. The fans are very excited to witness their favourite stars back on the silver screen.

April 2022 will be a fun-filled month for all the South Indian movie lovers out there as there is a line-up of some much-awaited and exciting movies waiting for release this month. Multiple Tamil and Telugu language films will be going on floors some of which were pending due to the pandemic. The initial phases of reopening of cinemas have shown a positive response from the audience and these movies are looking to benefit from the increased viewership post pandemic.

10 Much-Awaited Telugu And Tamil April 2022 Releases

Mishan Impossible

This upcoming Telugu film starring Tapsee Pannu, Rishab Shetty and Hareesh Perady marks the return of the actor to the Telugu cinema. The movie features the adventurous journey of three boys who dream to capture terrorist Dawood Ibrahim. The film will be releasing on April 1.

Ghani 

Ghani will be a Telugu romantic sports movie starring Varun Tej, Saiee Manjrekar, Naveen Chandra, Suniel Shetty, Upendra and Jagapathi Babu. Directed and written by Kiran Korrapati and produced by Sidhu Mudda and Allu Bobby, the movie will hit the theatres on April 8 and will showcase Varun in the role of a boxer.

Beast

One of the most anticipated Tamil April 2022 releases, South star Vijay's film Beast will be hitting the theatres on April 13, 2022. The movie will be an action thriller and black comedy and also feature Pooja Hegde, Selvaraghavan and Yogi Babu in pivotal roles. The movie will be Vijay's 65th movie and its production is done by Sun Pictures.

K.G.F: Chapter 2

After four long years, this sequel to South star Yash's 2018 blockbuster period film K.G.F: Chapter 1 will finally be releasing on April 14 in cinemas. The movie will also star Sanjay Dutt, Srinidhi Shetty, Prakash Raj and Raveena Tandon. The movie will feature Rocky's journey after murdering Garuda and his fight against his foes for those working at Kolar Gold Fields.

Thank You

Thank You will be a romantic drama that will feature Naga Chaitanya in lead role along with Raashi Khanna. Produced under the banner Sri Venkateswara Creations by Dil Raju, the film is directed by Vikram Kumar and written by B.V.S Ravi. The movie will also feature Indian TV actor Avika Gor in pivotal role.

Rudhran

Releasing on April 14, Rudhran is an upcoming Tamil film starring Kanchana fame Raghava Lawrence in lead role along with Priya Bhavani Shankar. The movie is produced by Kathiresan and will be an action thriller.

God Father

God Father is an upcoming Telugu film releasing on April 14 that will feature Chiranjeevi, Nayanthara and Satyadev Kancharana in lead roles. The political thriller will also be having a crucial cameo of Salman Khan. It will be the remake of popular Malayalam film Lucifer released in 2019.

Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal

This Tamil movie releasing on April 28 will be a romantic comedy featuring a love triangle. The movie was originally planned in 2015 by producer Vignesh Sivan but was postponed until 2020 when he revisited the idea. The movie will feature Nayanthara, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Vijay Sethupathi in lead roles.
