Tarla Twitter Review:
While most viewers found the inspiring story a heartwarming tale in simple and subtle ways, other viewers jokingly said that this film will definitely make us all hungry. Others find it to be the post-interval of Vidya Balan's film Tumhari Sulu which is another story of an ambitious housewife.
Most fans seem to love Qureshi's performance calling it "magical" and Qureshi "sliding into the skin" of her character. Fans also can't stop being impressed by Sharib Hashmi's acting calling his acting "surpassing his own set benchmark" and obsessing over his supportive husband role as Nalin Dalal.

The user gives credit to the small-scale feminism that led the movie. While one other user questioned why Huma Qureshi (a Muslim by religion) should play the vegetarian Nazi role?

The film skipped the theatrical release and graced the OTT platform Zee 5 on 7 July.
