Huma Qureshi will be playing the role of India's first home cook Tarla Dalal, in a biopic based on her life and work. The actor shared her look from the film on social media on Tuesday, also revealing that the shoot for the film has begun.
The poster of the film is quite eccentric and grabs the viewers' attention immediately. Qureshi as Dalal is wearing a cotton printed saree. With her right hand, she is seen indicating that the food tastes good. On the left side, she has a rolling pin tucked in her saree.
Qureshi cannot nearly be recognised, sporting a new hairdo and thick glasses, in order to get her characterisation right. Her background may inspire you to go to your kitchen and whip yourself something tasty. Behind her are two quintessential boxes to keep masala, surrounded by one big scatter of spices.
