Tara Sutaria's Apurva Trailer Out: Survival Drama To Release Soon

Following the recent release of an intriguing first look, the makers of the film Apurva have now unveiled its official trailer. Directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat, Apurva features a star-studded cast in leading roles, including Tara Sutaria, Abhishek Banerjee, Dhairya Karwa, and Rajpal Yadav.

The trailer commences with Tara Sutaria's character, Apurva, celebrating her engagement to her boyfriend, followed by her decision to embark on a surprise visit to Agra. However, her plans take an unexpected and suspenseful twist as she becomes the target of a criminal gang's kidnapping.

As the trailer progresses, Apurva undergoes a remarkable transformation into a resolute and strong-willed character, tapping into her inner strength to endure the ordeal. Interestingly, Rajpal Yadav, well-known for his comedic roles, assumes an unusually menacing character in the film, while both Abhishek Banerjee and Dhairya Karwa take on negative roles, adding an intriguing dimension to the story.

The actor expressed excitement about playing Apurva in advance, saying, "I couldn't have asked for a better script. As a young woman, it makes me proud to be playing Apurva. I'm excited to start my journey as a young woman whose intelligence, wit, and courage are the reasons she survives against all odds because this is a story about a woman with exceptional grit and inner energy."

Apurva, written and directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat is set to premiere on Disney+ Hotstar starting on November 15th.

In the context of Sutaria's recent work, she was most recently seen in Mohit Suri's Ek Villain Returns and Ahmed Khan's Heropanti 2. However, both films received mixed reviews and performed modestly at the box office. Prior to these, she appeared in movies like Marjaavaan alongside Sidharth Malhotra and Tadap with Ahan Shetty.

Her journey in the entertainment industry began at a young age with the television show Big Bada Boom. She went on to act in shows like The Suite Life of Karan and Kabir, Oye Jassie, and Shake It Up. Additionally, she participated in the reality show Entertainment Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega during her teenage years. Her debut film, Student of the Year 2, received mixed responses and achieved moderate success at the box office.
