Tanaav Release Date Announced, Series To Release In November

Tanaav, the Indian adaptation of the critically acclaimed Israeli series Fauda, will debut on Sony LIV on November 11. Set in Kashmir in 2017, it revolves around a Special Unit and its bravery.

The upcoming "fictional thriller" is directed by Sudhir Mishra and Sachin Mamta Krishn and is supported by Applause Entertainment in association with Applause Productions.

The official synopsis of the series reads, “Set against the backdrop of Kashmir in the year 2017, Tanaav tells the story of a Special secret Ops Unit, their bravery and courage. Delving into the human drama behind the ideas, dealing with complex emotions and flawed roles, all of whom share the same feelings of love, loss, betrayal and revenge. " Tanaav is a sociopolitical action drama with a greater emphasis on family. It will consist of twelve episodes.

Tanaav Release Date:

A special force has been deployed to control the situation as the number of terrorist attacks in Kashmir continues to rise. The team leader kills the terrorist leader and retires from his position. A few years later, one of his teammates approaches him and informs him that the terrorist leader is still alive and planning something massive to destabilise Kashmir's peace. ">Tanaav will tell the story of the Special Secret Operations Unit, including their bravery and courage. It is a sociopolitical action drama series with family at its core, delving into the human drama behind ideas and the complexities of thoughts and feelings, as well as broken personalities who all share the same feelings of love, loss, betrayal, and revenge.

The drama is scheduled to release on Sony LIV on November 11.

Manav Vij, known for films such as Andhadhun and, most recently, Laal Singh Chaddha, says Tanaav has an engaging storyline that appeals to today's evolving audience, which isn't interested in single-toned narratives.
