Farhana
Directed by Nelson Venkateson, Farhana is a women-centric thriller-drama. Farhana narrates the story of Farhana (Aishwarya Rajesh), a middle-class mother of three kids who decides to pursue a career at a call centre. While her conservative father is against the idea of women going to work, her husband, played by Jithin Ramesh, supports her decision. While enjoying her newfound freedom, Farhana finds herself caught in a web of peril due to her financial circumstances.
The much-awaited Aishwarya Rajesh’s Farhana is finally released on Sony Liv on July 7, 2023.
Katharbasha Endra Muthuramalingam
Katharbasha Endra Muthuramalingam is an action thriller featuring Arya, Siddi Idnani, and Prabhu in lead roles. The film is directed by M. Muthaiah and is set in the district of Tamil Nadu’s Ramanathapuram. The plot revolves around politicians who stir political turmoil among the residents of different religions in the district for their own benefit. While the villain attempts to take over a community, Katharbasha (Arya) stands against all odds to establish peace in the district.
KatharBasha Endra Muthuramalingam was released on Zee5 on July 7, 2023.
Takkar
Starring Siddharth and Divyansha Kaushik in the lead, Takkar is an action drama directed by Karthik G. Krish. Takkar narrates the story of Gunasekhar (Siddharth), a young man who has a million-dollar dream. He meets Lucky, a rich woman (Divyansha Kaushik), who thinks that lack of money is the source of all problems. Both Gunasekhar and Lucky get entangled in a human trafficking network, and their lives take unforeseen turns.
Takkar has been streaming on Netflix since July 7, 2023.
Good Night
Good Night stars one of the most talented upcoming actors, Manikandan, and Meetha Raghunath. The storyline revolves around the issues of the newly married Mohan (Manikandan), who is insecure about his snoring issue, and Anu (Meetha Raghunath). The film shows the couple dealing with work and marital issues and trying to find a balance between the two. The romantic comedy is directed by debutant director Vinayak Chandrasekaran.
The film has been streaming on Disney+ Hotstar since July 3, 2023.
