Masterchef Telugu: Actor Tamannaah Bhatia known for her many roles in South Indian and Bollywood films is all set to host the first season of MasterChef Telugu, a cooking reality show. It will be the first time that Bhatia will be seen presenting a show on Television.
According to reports, the actor is likely to start shooting for the show in July.
Expressing her excitement on the new development, Bhatia said that she has always been passionate about cooking. She said, "I can’t wait to treat myself to all the exotic culinary delights on set. It’s going to be extremely exciting and gratifying.”
As per the information given out by the makers in a press release, the show will be shot at film city Bidadi, Karnataka. A set as per MasterChef standards has been reportedly built there.

The cooking reality show is going to have opening and closing episodes of 90 minutes and the other 26 episodes are going to be one hour long. Sun Tv Network is going to produce the show and its other regional versions in Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. While Sun TV will telecast the Tamil version, Gemini TV, Udaya Tv and Surya TV will telecast the Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam versions respectively. The Hindi version of the show is produced by Star TV.
Actors Kichcha Sudeep, Prithviraj Sukumaran and Vijay Sethupathi will be hosting the Kannada, Malayalam and Tamil versions respectively. The franchise rights of all these regional versions of the world-famous reality show have been taken by Innovative Film Academy along with VELS Film International and Invenio films.
Tamannaah Bhatia was last seen in the series named November Story on the OTT platform. Her upcoming film projects are Bole Chudiyan, Gurthunda Seethakalam, F3, Maestro and Seetimarr.
