Taapsee Pannu transformation: Taapsee Pannu will soon be seen in the Vinil Mathew directorial Haseen Dillruba. She will be playing the role of Rani Kashyap, whom she describes as a "self obsessed borderline narcissist character."
Pannu has always been known for choosing challenging roles, each one differing from the other. From playing a simple next door girl in Chashme Baddoor to gradually accepting more intense roles like Minal (Pink), Shabana (Naam Shabana), Amrita (Thappad) and many more, the actor has created a niche for herself in the industry. The trailer reveals Rani is a modern woman who is not ashamed of expressing her sexual desire. She also has a certain air of mystery around her. Given that Pannu has not played any such character earlier her fans are eagerly waiting to see her in Haseen Dillruba. The film releases on 2nd July on Netflix.
