Taapsee Pannu Rashmi Rocket: The actor has time and again given befitting replies to trolls. Before announcing the release date of her upcoming film Rashmi Rocket, she shared a picture of her back on social media from the racing tracks. Pannu had received praise for her physical transformation for the role of an athlete in the film.
When a publication posted the picture of her back asking people to guess who is in the picture, a troll decided to insult the actor.
The social media user reportedly wrote, "Ye mard ki body wali sirf Taapsee hi ho sakti hai." Without giving much attention to the tone of the comment, Pannu took it as a compliment. She replied, "All I will say is.... Just remember this line and wait for September 23. And advance mein THANK YOU, I really worked hard for this compliment."
The film will start streaming on OTT platform from September 23 this year. Taapsee Pannu also tweeted that the trailer of the film can drop on the internet on Thursday.
While announcing the release date of Rashmi Rocket on Monday, the actor wrote,"Ye chunautiyon bhari race shuru ho chuki hai aur ab Ravan dahan pe hi aake rukegi. Bahut kuch nasht karna hai Rashmi ko iss saal."( Get ready to run with Rashmi in this race on and off the track. She will need you in this one. )#RashmiRocket ready to take off on October 15, 2021 only on ZEE5."
Since the day Pannu started training for the role in the film, she has been sharing glimpses of her body transformation. She also revealed about an incident when mid-training she was not able to move her legs. She said that on the third day of shoot, she was not able to run anymore. "Halfway through the sprint, I stopped, I couldn't lift my legs. I had to stop the shoot for a while, just be able to walk. That day was very scary for the entire set...I was scared, obviously. Usually, I feel that I can brave up the situation and say that 'okay, I can handle it."
It almost took two weeks for the actor to recover from the unbearable pain when she started sprinting again.
