Looop Lapeta
Looop Lapeta is being helmed by Aakash Bhatia and has Taapsee Pannu and Tahir Raj Bhasin in the lead roles. The film is an official remake of the 1998 German thriller Run Lola Run, about a woman who must collect 100,000 Deutschmarks within 20 minutes to save her boyfriend. However, Taapsee joined the narration of the film with a no, but by the end of the narration, she changed her mind. Rashmi Rocket
The film is the story of a young girl Rashmi with a big dream to run fast and be part of athletic contests. The village girl wants to be a sportswoman and take part in competitions at big stadiums and race in front of spectators. As the story progresses, Rashmi then gets an opportunity to learn on real tracks, in real sporting arenas and fulfil her dreams. Directed by Akarsh Khurana and co-produced by Ronnie Screwvala, Neha Anand, and Pranjal Khandhdiya, the sports-drama is expected to release sometime in 2021.

Dobaaraa
Actor-director pair Taapsee Pannu and Anurag Kashyap recently announced their upcoming venture together. They are now teaming up for a sci-fi film Dobaaraa. Although the details about the film are still under the wraps, the filmmaker told ANI, “Our vision with Dobaaraa is to bring a fresh, new story to the audience and I am very excited for it. This will be my third collaboration with Taapsee and this time the attempt is to bring an interesting new take on thrillers. After all, this is my first with Cult Movies”.

Haseen Dilruba
Another venture of the actor is the film titled Haseen Dilruba directed by Vinil Mathew and produced by Aanand L. Rai. The film is among the movies that will premiere on Netflix this year. Written by Kanika Dhillon, this film will feature Taapsee Pannu, Vikrant Massey and Harshvardhan Rane. The official logline reads: “A woman whose heart longs to live like words captured in a novel finds herself entangled in the murder of her own husband.”

Shabaash Mithu
The Rahul Dholakia directorial biopic will narrate the story of Indian women's cricket captain Mithali Raj. Taapsee will be seen playing the role of the protagonist. Shabaash Mithu has been penned down by Priya Aven, who also works as creative director at Viacom 18 Studios. Earlier, revealing the first look of the film, the actor wrote on Instagram, “I have always been asked who’s your favourite male cricketer but you should ask them who their favourite female cricketer is.
