Taapsee Pannu's Blurr To Premiere On OTT, Actor Shares First Look

The upcoming psychological thriller Blurr, which was announced last year to fans, stars Taapsee Pannu, and the actor today revealed a new poster from the film. Pannu also shared the movie's release date on Instagram.

Taapsee Pannu can be seen in the motion poster's opening shot looking at the camera and appearing to be scared as another Pannu appears in front of her. The former Pannu can be seen losing her vision as their faces become blurry. Sharing the motion poster the actor wrote, "There’s always more than what meets the eye! #BlurrOnZEE5 premieres 9th December." According to the announcement, the film is set to premiere on Zee5 on December 9.

In Blurr, a woman is the central protagonist, and the story revolves around her struggles and her determination to overcome her ordeal. Gayatri, played by Pannu, is the main character of this movie, and she slowly loses her vision as she attempts to look into the death of her twin sister.

The Ajay Bahl-directed film, which also stars Gulshan Devaiah, will have its Hindi television premiere only on ZEE5. Zee Studios, Outsiders Films, and Echelon Productions all contributed to the movie's production. The writers of Blurr are Ajay Bahl and Pawan Sony.

In a statement, the actor stated about the film, "Thrillers form an important part of my filmography, and Blurr was one such script that kept me on the edge with its screenplay and the situations the protagonist was thrown into throughout the film. That’s why it was an immediate yes when Vishal reached out to me for this project."

Additionally, she added, "Having shot nearly half the movie while wearing blindfolds, I am taking home a lot of memories and real bruises, which truly made me value the clear vision even more. Working with Ajay Sir was something I was looking forward to after Section 375. With this one, I hope the OTT audience is prepared for some chills and thrills."

In addition to Blurr, Taapsee Pannu is in the upcoming movie Dunki by Rajkumar Hirani. In the movie, she will be paired with Shah Rukh Khan. The movie will debut on December 22, 2023.
