Swara Bhasker slams troll for bringing up her vibrator scene again: Actor Swara Bhasker slammed a troll for bringing up a scene she did in a film, while trying to discredit her attempts to help COVID-19 patients.
When Swara Bhasker appeared in the movie Veere Di Wedding, she became subjected to several online trolls because of a scene in which she is seen using a vibrator. She had to deal with trolls who called the scene 'obscene' and 'vulgar'. while the film released in 2018, the trolling continues to resurface every time Bhasker is in news.
On Thursday, Bhasker took to her Twitter handle to respond to a journalist, who accused her of 'making a joke out of providing service'.
The Bhaag Beanie Bhaag actor is participating in a drive to secure COVID-19 resources for the needy. Responding to this initiative, Shrivastav said, "When you are proud of introducing 'the vibrator' in Indian cinema and consider it as a symbol of 'women empowerment', what else can be expected from you? You have made a joke out of providing service".
Bhasker replied, "Uncle thoda obsessed nahi lag rahe vibrator se? (Doesn't uncle seems obsessed with vibrators)?"

Actor Richa Chadha too took to Twitter to reveal that she had been targetted by the same troll, "Shocked to find that such a misogynistic and evil person has been hired by the Doordarshan, India's national public service broadcaster. At a time when everyone is doing literally all they can to help, he simply cannot help but put out himself as a pervert," she tweeted, sharing a tweet posted by the person in question.

Thappad star Taapsee Pannu replied to Chadha's tweet, revealing that the troll had targetted her as well. "He has been writing things about me also but I always a more important tweet before and after his to attend to so overlooked it. This is how he wants to put his power in use :) shows much," she wrote.

Earlier this month, southern actor Siddharth had tweeted that social media users had taken to calling him "South ka Swara" as he was vocal on several social issues like the Raanjhanaa actor.
