Sushmita Sen Lalit Modi married? The question comes as a banger to many as rumours of the actor and businessman tying knot in Maldives makes rounds. Sushmita broke up with her model boyfriend Rohman Shawl in December 2021 few days before Christmas and is since known to be single.

Sushmita Sen's breakup with Rohman Shawl was a shock to her fans as the couple seemed happily compatible considering how he blend with her family. However, despite breaking up due to differences Rohman has been a part of her family gatherings. In other words, Sushmita was single since December 2021 and her posts and online presence never hinted to any sort of relationship. However, a recent rumour of Sushmita Sen getting married has shocked the fans and everyone is curious about when, where and to whom.

Sushmita Sen Marries Lalit Modi?

The speculations began when fugitive Indian businessman Lalit Modi took to his Twitter account to share four pictures with Sushmita Sen. What captured the attention of the people was the caption that went like, "Just back in london after a whirling global tour #maldives # sardinia with the families - not to mention my #betterhalf @sushmitasen47 - a new beginning a new life finally. Over the moon." In another tweet, he clarified that they are just dating are not married yet. Modi wrote, "Just for clarity. Not married - just dating each other. That too it will happen one day."

56-years-old businessman Lalit Modi is the founder and the former chairman and commissioner of Indian Premier League and the Vice-President of the Board of Conduct for Cricket in India. However, he was accused of indiscipline and misconduct by BCCI in 2010 which were proven true in 2013. He was also the target of Enforcement Directorate's investigation siting which he moved to London and has since been living there.

Sushmita Sen is a single mother of two daughters, Renee and Alisah. Modi's recent post created havoc on social media and among fans who wanted to know what is actually going on. However, in a recent statement, Lalit Modi cleared the air and reportedly announced that the couple is just dating.
