"I Found Him At Last": Mouni Roy Gives Fans A Glimpse Into Wedding With Suraj Nambiar

Fans are all hearts for Mouni Roy wedding photos flooding Instagram, as the actor tied the knot with her partner Suraj Nambiar in a traditional South Indian ceremony Thursday. The wedding took place in Goa and was attended by several of Roy's friends from the film and television industry.

"I found him at last ..♥️ Hand in hand, blessed by family & friends , We re married!!!!!!!!!!! Need your love and blessings... 27.01.22," the Naagin actor said sharing glimpses from her ceremony in an Instagram post. 

Roy, decked in jewellery and gajras, donned a white saree bordered with red and gold for her big day while Nambiar paired a beige kurta with a mundu.

Friends like Mandira Bedi and Arjun Bijlani were sharing photos from the various celebrations in the run-up to January 27, the day of the wedding. Bedi took to social media to post photos from the haldi ceremony, which showed Roy in light yellow atire and statement jewellery. See here. Bijlani too had shared photos of the couple participating in their wedding rituals.

Singing duo Meet Bros also posted videos from the couple's wedding day, writing, "The brand new Jodi in town is here."

As per reports earlier this month, sources said Roy scaled back on her wedding guest list given the pandemic situation and asked attendees to submit RT-PCR reports before they made the trip down south. She planned for the ceremony to be intimate and will possibly organise a reception for her industry friends in Mumbai once the current COVID-19 circumstances get better.

Roy herself confirmed reports of her wedding to Nambiar only this week, making it 'Insta-official' January 26, with a picture of the couple caught in a loving embrace during their wedding celebrations. "Everything," she captioned the photo.

Nambiar, who hails from Karnataka, is a Dubai-based businessman. He met Roy in 2019 when the latter was in Dubai for New Year's, as per reports. Roy kept her relationship out of the public eye, even allegedly refuting reports of her dating Nambiar last year.

On the small screen, she is known for appearances in daily soaps Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev and Naagin. She was last seen in the 2021 film Velle opposite Abhay Deol.
