Karan Deol, the son of Sunny Deol, is expected to tie the knot in June. The actor, who will next be seen in Apne 2, got engaged a few months ago in a low-key ceremony. The celebration took place on the anniversary of his grandparents, actors Dharmendra and Prakash Kaur. The identity of Karan's partner hasn't yet been made public. However, a recent media report claims that Drisha Acharya is the girl in Karan's life.

Who Is Karan Deol's Fiancée?

Drisha Acharya is said to be the great-granddaughter of renowned director Bimal Roy. She reportedly has her home base in Dubai and is employed as a manager at a travel company.

According to a source close to the couple, it's a classic instance of a childhood romance. The source also mentioned that there had been an engagement. Drisha is currently in Mumbai, and the couple will soon announce their engagement. The source also added that making a public appearance is the plan.

She is the granddaughter of Basu Bhattacharya, a filmmaker, and Rinki Bhattacharya, Bimal Roy's daughter. Her mother, Chimoo B. Acharya, a former advertising executive and promoter of one of the Middle East's event management firms, moved to Dubai in 1998.

There were many rumours that Karan was engaged to Drisha last year. However, Karan's team denied the engagement rumours, stating that Drisha and Karan had been friends since they were young and it's untrue that they're rumoured to be engaged.

However, according to the latest reports Dharmendra and Prakash Kaur were present when the engagement took place a few months ago. It stated that Karan is very content and has received blessings from his father and the rest of the family. The wedding will probably happen sometime next month, according to the rumours.
