Athiya Shetty, KL Rahul Wedding: Ajay Devgn Wishes The Couple 'Blissful Married Life'

Actor Athiya Shetty and Indian cricketer KL Rahul are all set to tie the knot today, 23 January. The couple's wedding will be taking place at Suniel Shetty's farmhouse in Khandala. The wedding is said to be an intimate affair with only close family members and friends in attendance.

Ahead of their wedding on Monday, Ajay Devgn gave a “special shoutout” to Suniel Shetty on his daughter Athiya's marriage to cricketer KL Rahul. He congratulated the actor, his wife Mana Shetty as well as the soon-to-wed couple on the occasion.

Meanwhile, a paparazzi video from the wedding venue showed the veteran actor greeting the paparazzi with namaste and interacting with them. In the video, Suniel Shetty can be heard saying, "Arahe hain... Kal leke aata huin mai unko... bachcho ko (Athiya and KL Rahul). Aapne jo pyaar dikhaya uske liye bohot bohot thank you. We'll come... please just take care. (We are coming with kids tomorrow. Thank you for all the love). In the background, we can hear a paparazzo congratulating the actor.

Suniel Shetty On Athiya Shetty Wedding

Ahead of daughter Athiya Shetty's wedding to KL Rahul, Suniel Shetty was spotted outside his Khandala farmhouse on Sunday. The veteran actor greeted the paparazzi with namaste and interacted with them. In the video, the actor can be heard saying, "Arahe hain... Kal leke aata huin mai unko... bachcho ko (Athiya and KL Rahul). Aapne jo pyaar dikhaya uske liye bohot bohot thank you. We'll come... please just take care. (We are coming with kids tomorrow. Thank you for all the love)

Previously, Suniel Shetty also spilt more details about his daughter's marriage. In a report, Shetty confirmed daughter Athiya's wedding with KL Rahul. He also expressed that they are looking at possible dates for the wedding. To plan out the wedding, the schedules of both Athiya and Rahul into consideration and plan things out, as per the Shetty. Further added, "Hopefully soon, we will know when and where will the wedding happen. I guess at the right time, everyone will know details about the wedding." Suniel Shetty says, "Jaldi Hogi." 

Athiya and K L Rahul started dating secretly and have been in a relationship for over three years now. They made it official at the special screening of Ahan Shetty's debut Bollywood movie, Tadap. The couple made their first public appearance at the event and posed for the paparazzi together. The couple has also been sharing posts and pictures with each other on special days and of memorable moments. Athiya Shetty has also praised her beau cricketer several times on his best performances. She recently posted about KL Rahul scoring a half-century during the first T20I of the three-match series against Australia at PCA Stadium in Mohali. The bond between both is quite visible.

Shetty will next be seen in Karthik K's Case No 323. He will be sharing the screen space with Anurag Kashyap, film also features Mugdha Godse in a key role. He will also be seen in 3rd installment of Hera Pheri. Suniel Shetty in a report revealed, “Of course, I will and that was the intention that Raju, Shyam, and Babu Rao should be together. But like I said, only next week will tell us where we stand and what is happening.”
