At the recently organised India Today conclave, Suhana Khan opened up about her journey as a star kid, her first steps in Bollywood, and why her parents are her biggest supporters. Khan will soon be seen in Zoya Akhtar's The Archies.

Suhana Khan Credits Parents As Motivation Boosters
23-year-old Suhana Khan is all set to make her debut alongside Khushi Kapoor and Agastya Nanda in Zoya Akhtar's The Archies as a lead character.
Although Suhana Khan has studied in acting school and has earlier featured in a few short films during her college years, Zoya Akhtar's The Archies will mark her big acting debut in the film industry.
At a recent India Today Conclave in Mumbai, Khan shared how on the first day of sets looking at the number of people, cameras, make-up, and everyone and the chaos made her feel like she was just "in the middle of it" and she felt "extremely insignificant." She continued that as she watched everyone doing everything to facilitate Akhtar's vision.
Khan also talked about her initial nervousness, emphasising the weight of responsibility she felt and how Zoya Akhtar had a big role in comforting her.
When asked who is Khan's biggest critic or someone who gives her feedback, Khan talked about her parents Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan, saying that they were her "biggest source of guidance." She continued, "My entire family, in fact, we all chip in and help each other out."
Khan also talked about her role as Veronica describing her as an "undeniably magnetic personality" and said she is learning from her character's quality of "unapologetically self-assuredness".
Agastya Nanda Says He Is "Not A Casanova Like The Character" Credits Women In His Life
22-year-old Agastya Nanda who is also making his acting debut through in The Archies talked in the conclave about his excitement, character, his role model and making friends.
Nanda talked about his character 'Archie' being a Casanova, however, he confessed, unlike 'Archie' he doesn't consider himself a Casanova. Talking more about his character, Nanda added the only thing common between his character and him is their shared love for music as it helps him to deal with a lot of emotions in his personal life calling "that's where we are similar."
Talking about choosing Akhtar to make his acting debut, the young lad said Akhtar was the one who chose him for her character and he auditioned for it. He also expressed that the film being streamed across 190 countries feels exciting to him. He continued expressing that he couldn't have asked for anything better in the people in the team he worked with revealing that they have now become best friends and hang out a lot.
Nanda further talked about his role model whom he considers to be his late grandmother Ritu Nanda and called his sister Navya Naveli Nanda his "biggest PR". Nanda said his role model is his dadi and although she is no more with them, he always aspired to be like her.
Zoya Akhtar Unviels Charachter Poster Of The Archies
Zoya Akhtar unveiled the poster of her upcoming film, The Archies, on October 5 on her Instagram. The poster features retro-styled images of the film's cast, which includes Agastya Nanda, Suhana Khan, Mihir Ahuja, Khushi Kapoor, Vedang Raina, Santana Roach, Yuvraj Menda, and Aditi Dot. The poster also reveals that the film will be released on Netflix on December 7.
The Archies is a musical love-action drama film based on the popular Archie Comics series set in the 1960s. It is set in the fictional town of Riverdale in 1964 and follows the lives of a group of teenagers as they navigate love, friendship, and music. The film is directed by Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagati and produced under the banner of Tiger Baby Films and Excel Entertainment.
