Suddenly: Vanessa Kirby And Jake Gyllenhaal To Star In Survival Thriller

Jake Gyllenhaal, Vanessa Kirby To Star In Survival Thriller: Thomas Bidegain, who is known for writing films such as Rust And Bone, A Prophet and Dheepan, will direct the movie, based on Isabelle Autissier's French-language novel Soudain Seuls.

The movie follows the story of a couple grounded on an island in the South Atlantic and must fight for their survival when their dream voyage becomes a nightmare. Gyllenhaal will produce the project along with Riva Marker bankroll their Nine Stories banner. Along with that Artemis Productions and True North Productions will co-produce the film. According to Deadline, Bidegain is also modifying the script for the English-language movie, which hails from StudioCanal.

The novel illustrates a light on the patterns of their bond and also grasps a reflection of modern society. 'Suddenly' streaks second collaboration Gyllenhaal and Bidegain, who had co-written the actor's 2018 movie The Sisters Brothers. The actor will next star in The Guilty, directed by the director of Antonia Fuqua, and Michael Bay's Ambulance.

Gyllenhaal, an American actor who made his debut as a child through City Slickers released in 1991 has grown up into a Hollywood star, achieving awards like Tony Award for Sea Wall/A life. Besides acting, he's a vocalist and well-informed about political and social issues.

Apart from suddenly, Kirby was also a part of blockbusters like Mission: Impossible - Fallout and Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw. She was recently nominated for an Oscar for her epic performance in Pieces of A Woman.

Kirby is an English actor who is the recipient of several laurels, some of which include: British Academy Television Award, Volpi Cup Award among others. Kirby made her film debut with a minor role in the crime drama The Rise released in 2012 and rose to an International brand through her magnificent portrayal of Princess Margeret in the Netflix drama series The Crown(2016-17)
