Trailer Alert: A New Ghost Is Haunting Chanderi; This Time It's Not 'Stree'

The trailer for Stree 2 is finally here, giving audiences a glimpse of the new supernatural threat haunting the people of Chanderi. This time, it's not "Stree" causing trouble but a male. Rajkummar Rao returns as Chanderi Ka Bawra, and Shraddha Kapoor as his partner, popular as Chhalawa, to protect the town from this new menace.

Who's the New Ghost Haunting Chanderi? 

The much-awaited trailer for Stree 2 has finally been released, revealing the new supernatural threat in Chanderi is Sarkate. This towering figure is so tall that even combining Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan's heights wouldn't reach his waist. Pankaj Tripathi returns as Rudra, the paranormal expert who reveals that Sarkata was the one responsible for Stree's revenge in the first part. He reveals that this creature is more of an influencer, aiming to change the mindset of Chanderi’s men and increase his following.

As expected, Rajkummar Rao teams up with his friends Aparshakti Khurana and Abhishek Banerjee to take on Sarkata. This time, Shraddha Kapoor’s character and the mystery of her long braid will also be revealed, as hinted in the trailer. Her braid is not just an ordinary one, and it plays a crucial role in the story.

Just like the first film, Stree 2 promises a mix of horror, comedy, and satire. The Maha Puja night is set to unfold all these elements, making it a must-watch for the audience. Get ready for a thrilling experience when Stree 2 hits theatres on August 15.

Directed by Amar Kaushik and produced by Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films, Stree 2 is part of a horror-comedy universe that includes other films such as Stree, Roohi, Bhediya, and Munjya.

Interestingly it is the first among all of the other films. Moreover, hints about Stree 2 were dropped in Bhediya, and the teaser for Stree 2 premiered in theatres during the end credits of Munjya. It was later released on social media on June 25, 2024. Take a look.
