All About Stranger Things Season 5 Release Date, Cast And Plot

Stranger Things season 5 release date is the much anticipated piece of information that everyone is looking for after a banging season 4 finale. The fifth season will be the final season that will wrap up the story of the Hawkins high schoolers and the evil Upside Down and it can be nothing but epic.

So far Stranger Things has successfully got the audience hooked to its every season, every character, every little detail and every spoiler. The show began to stream on Netflix in 2016 and the world has since seen the entire journey of the friendship of Eleven and her friends, the rise and origin of her powers and the evils that lay behind the seemingly calm town Hawkins. The cast members, who began as early teenager, grow older and are almost at the end of her teenage years and its like the audience saw them grow, both physically and artistically. Hence, signing off would be a tough task for the team as well as the fans.

Stranger Things Season 5 Release Date

The beginning of the end happened in season 4 itself with some major shocks to the audience with the death (maybe) of their beloved characters. The season, that was divided into two volumes, featured some new and crazier creatures from the Upside Down, the origin of the evil Vecna that caused as much harm to the friend as it caused to the audience (if you know, you know) and left the everyone sad and gloomy. However, the devastating yet grand penultimate season set the stage for an epic finale to the series which is expected to premiere soon.

The focus of season five is expected to be shifted to Will Byers and the season will wrap all the mysteries of the Upside Down and the chapter of Vecna, if possible, forever. The returning cast is expected to include Millie bobby Brown, Noah Schnapp, Finn Wolfhard, Priya Ferguson, Gaten Matarazzo, Joe Keery, Charlie Heaton and apparently Sandie Sink as Max is expected to be alive. Basically, the ones who did not die in season 4 will return to season 5. It might be that the 'dead' characters might also make an appearance in flashbacks. The season will have similar vibes to the first season but will portray them at a much greater level.

The season five of Stranger Things is expected to be around 8-9 episodes long. The Duffer Brothers said that they will make certain changes to the timeline as well and will start working on the story reportedly by August 2022, the shoot is expected to begin by early 2023 and hence, the season will probably release in 2024. Even though it will be the final season, it is definitely not going to be the end of things in the Stranger Things Universe as there are many stories left untold.
