While Eddie became the hero, Jason definitely became the villain for viewers, even scarier than Vecna. A user shared the comparison meme and wrote, "The show villain: The real villain".  Another celebrated his death with a meme captioned, "me trying to process max’s death and then immediately watching Jason get sliced in half like a grilled cheese"

Season 5 is scheduled to release by 2024 and the wait is enough to torment the fans. A user shared a meme of cartoon character Charlie Brown looking outside a black window blankly with the caption, "me contemplating my life after watching stranger things season 4 vol. 2 immediately after it released and now realizing i have to wait for 2 years for season 5".

And no matter how many times you watch it, season 4 was nothing short of epic. Sharing a gif of Vecna emerging from the broken staircase, a Twitter user wrote, "getting up to rewatch the finale and put myself through it yet again".
