Stranger Things new episodes will be arriving soon on Netflix. Stranger Things season 4 released its volume 1 back in May and the fans have been eagerly awaiting the release of volume 2 ever since.
Fans cannot keep calm as the trailer released revealed that it is going to Eleven vs Vecna showdown. Volume 2 will premiere with two finale episodes of the season “Chapter Eight: Papa” and “Chapter Nine: The Piggyback,” written and directed by Matt and Ross Duffer.
Reports revealed that with 287 million hours spent by viewers watching the Season 4 volume 1 all in the last week of May, Season 4 set the record for Netflix’s biggest-ever premiere weekend for an English-language series. Shawn Levy, Dan Cohen, and Iain Patterson serve as the executive producers for this show.
Stranger Things New Episodes Coming Soon: What To Expect?
Stranger Things New Episodes will most probably feature Eleven and the gang entering into the Upside Down, to beat Vecna using the power of music. Music played an important role in Volume 1 of season 4 and also revealed the origin and background of Vecna. However new episodes are speculated to answer some impending questions while providing a link to the show's finale season. Show creators Matt and Ross Duffer, have confirmed some character deaths in the season 4 finale.
Jason Bateman earlier revealed that the final two episodes are going to be “super-sized” inching more towards the runtime of feature films rather than episodes. Reports have now revealed that is indeed true as the runtime of Episode 8 is 1 hour and 25 minutes, and the episode 9, the finale episode will be 2 hours and 30 minutes long. The July 4 weekend is going to be one big binge-fest with Stranger Things premiering with two supersized episodes.
Stranger Things season 4 Volume 2 teaser ">trailer was released by Netflix on June 9. Providing the fans with a sneak peek into what's coming next, the trailer featured a montage, with Vecna's voiceover stating: “It is over, Eleven, you have freed me, You can’t stop this now.” Fans are speculating a massive showdown in the upcoming episodes. A two-minute-long ">trailer was then released on June 21 with Kate Bush's “Running Up That Hill (Deal with God).” playing in the background, showcasing the gang getting set for the showdown.
Talking about Stranger Things New Episodes David Harbour promised that the finale episodes are going to be epic, stating-"If you've enjoyed season four up until this point, get ready because the (last two episodes) are the best thing that makes what you've seen look like chump change compared to it. It's a masterpiece, it's beautiful, it's epic... but it's also on a scale and a scope that almost gets silly and it's like wondrous, almost manga-esque... You're going to be blown away."
Stranger Things new episodes are slated to release on Netflix at 3 a.m. ET/12 a.m. PT /3 pm IST on Friday, July 1.
