The film talks about how a group of NSG commanders risked their lives to rescue the hostages captured by the terrorists. It stars Akshaye Khanna in the pivotal role. He will be playing the role of Major Hanut Singh. Vivek Dahiya, Gautam Rode, Manjari Faddnis and Akshay Oberoi are also a part of this project. State of Siege marks the Dil Chahta Hai actor Khanna's OTT debut.

Who is the director of the movie?

State of Siege: Temple Attack is directed by Ken Ghosh. It is the sequel to State of Siege: 26/11 which was created by Abhimanyu Singh. Talking about the film, the director said in a statement that it is a tribute to the NSG commanders. He further added that a lot of hard work has been put into the making of this film.

What does Akshaye Khanna say about his digital debut?

In an interview with The Hindu, Khanna on having an OTT release said,"It’s just a different medium". Adding "OTT consumption, in some ways, is not a completely new phenomenon. Watching content on phones is a big shift, yes. But if people are watching the films on TV, then they have been doing that for a long time".

The trailer of the film released on YouTube on Saturday, July 3 and received a great response from the audience. The movie starts streaming on the OTT platform Zee5 from July 9. It will available on the Zee 5 premium plan and you need to have a subscription to stream it. The film will release in three different languages namely, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
