In a recent interview, Hwang Dong-Hyuk, the creator of the Korean show Squid Game, revealed that he is in talks with Netflix about a second and third season.
Squid Game, a Korean thriller that was released earlier this year, quickly surpassed all previous Netflix shows in terms of viewership. The show's first season ended on a cliffhanger, with protagonist Seong Gi Hun on the hunt for the mysterious figures behind the show's titular game. The show's creator, Hwang Dong-Hyuk, recently revealed in an interview that he has not only finalised the plotline for the second season, but he is also in talks with Netflix about a third season.
Squid Game Season 3:
The show is about cash-strapped people competing in children's games for the chance to win a large sum of money, but the losers have no choice but to die. The Korean survival thriller follows 456 people who enter a series of children's games in the hopes of winning a $40 million cash prize that will help them pay off their debts. Losing the game can result in the death of the various people who failed to qualify at different levels of the game.

There had been much speculation about the show's second season and when filming would begin, given how the first season ended. Hwang, the show's creator, hasn't said anything about it in a long time. He admitted to working on the second season during a special Question &Answer round about the show in November.
Squid Game premiered on Netflix in September and received positive reviews from both critics and fans. It also broke the record for the biggest series premiere on the streaming service. The story of Gi-hun (Lee Jung-Jae), the final winner of the deadly contest, will be featured in the upcoming season and there can be season 3 also as per the demand by the audience.
