In a shocking turn of events, popular South Korean singer Park Bo-ram died at the age of 30 on Thursday. The news of her death was confirmed by her agency, Xanadu Entertainment. The agency also urged the public to not intervene making speculations about the cause of death as the police investigation is underway. The cause of death of the 30-year-old star has been yet not confirmed and is unknown.

As per the reports, Park Bo-ram hours before her death was with two of her friends at a private gathering and purportedly having some drinks when the singer excused herself for a bathroom break at 9:55 pm but took an unusually long time to return.
After her friends with went to check on her, they found her unconscious inside the bathroom which prompted them to soon call paramedics and even give CPR during the time emergency aid would arrive. The singer was soon rushed to the nearby hospital where she was over an hour later, at 11:17 PM, pronounced dead.
Her agency, Xanadu Entertainment announced the news confirming the singer's death as they wrote expressing their deep sorrow: "We are here to share sorrowful and heartbreaking news," the statement read. "Park Bo Ram suddenly passed away late at night on April 11."

Park Bo-ram rose to prominence after appearing on the popular audition show Superstar K2 in 2010. She debuted in 2014 with the song 'Beautiful' which achieved success, ranking 19th on the annual music chart that year, she rose to fame with her song in K-drama Reply 1988, Hyehwadong’.
Park recently released the single "I Miss You" on April 3 and was reportedly preparing for a full-length album to commemorate her 10th anniversary in the music industry.
