Soundarya Rajinikanth Welcomes Baby Boy, Names Him Veer

Soundarya Rajinikanth and her husband Vishagan Vanangamudi welcomed their baby boy on September 11 at a private hospital in Chennai. The filmmaker, also the founder and owner of Ocher Picture Productions, had begun her career in films as a graphic designer. She has a seven-year-old son, Ved Krishna, from her previous marriage.

Soundarya Rajinikanth took to her social media to announce the birth of her son. The couple has named their son Veer Rajinikanth Vanangamudi.

The filmmaker took to her social media accounts to share the delightful news featuring some love-filled pictures from her pregnancy shoot alongside her husband and oldest son. The filmmaker, in her post, also acknowledged the doctors who treated her through her pregnancy and the birth of her son. Soundarya Rajinikanth, who has generally kept a low profile across social media, had recently shared the eight-year anniversary news of her directorial debut film, Kochadaiyaan.

She posted photos on social media, captioning the announcement: "Thanks to God's immense grace and our parents' blessings, Vishagan, Ved, and I are happy to welcome Ved's little brother. VEER RAJINIKANTH VANANGAMUDI #Veer #Blessed today, 11/9/22 Thank you to our amazing doctors, @sumana Manohar and Dr Srividya Seshadri @SeshadriSuresh3 (sic)."

Several actors commented on her posts and wished her and the family the best. Most of them congratulated her with all their heart and expressed their wish to meet the newborn.

Soundarya Rajinikanth and Vishagan Vanangamudi married on February 11, 2019, at The Leela Palace in Chennai. Vanangamudi is an actor and is famous for his work in several films including Vanjagar Ulagam and A Love Story.

Soundarya Rajinikanth began her professional career as an assistant director. She has also helped with graphic design for films like Sivaji, Baba, Majaa, and Sandakozhi. Her directing debut, Kochadaiiyaan, created quite a stir and performed well down south. Her first marriage was to businessman Ashwin Ramkumar. They were married for eight years and have a son together.

Recently Soundarya Rajinikanth's father superstar Rajinikanth completed 47 years in the film industry and his daughters both shared photos from the in-house celebration.
