Sonu Sood Thanks His Wife For Being The Reason Behind His Success

Sonu Sood wife: Married to his college sweetheart, Sonu Sood and his wife Sonali Sood have been giving couple goals since the year 1996 when they tied the knot. Evident from Sood's Instagram account where he has time and again shared posts with his wife, Sood believes the presence of his partner is the sole reason behind his success.

The actor who gained praise for his work as COVID-19 frontline warrior rose to greater fame last year by helping thousands of families reach their native home, who were unable to do so because of the sudden countrywide lockdown. Along with transportation help to the daily wage earners, he constantly helped in connecting COVID-19 resources with those in need.

A marriage that is as long as 24 years is nothing short of a dream. The couple is the parents of two sons Ayaan and Ishant.

Sood met the producer Sonali during his college years at Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering in Nagpur. Initially great friends, the duo soon began to date each other.

Now, the 47-year-old actor states his wife to be the reason behind everything he has achieved. In an Instagram post, dated back to December 4, 2020, Sood penned a note for his wife, "Thank you for always being my pillar of support. Today whatever we have achieved together was not possible without you."

Sonali Sood, who is claimed to be the first and only woman the Entertainment star ever dated, accompanies her husband in different events and interviews, sometimes as his strength and other times as the lead. She is known for co-producing the Bollywood film Tutak Tutak Tutiya in the year 2016, starring her husband.

It is also reported that Sood used to write hand letters to his now wife and then-girlfriend during their courtship years.

The actor further shared in an interview Times Of India that his wife was extremely supportive of him during his struggling days.

She was supportive then and even today. Initially, she was not happy when I wanted to be an actor, but today she’s proud of me.
