David Beckham Pens 'Thank You' Post For SRK, Sonam Kapoor For The Warm Welcome

Former football legend David Beckham  recently embarked on his first-ever trip to India, and the warmth of his reception was nothing short of spectacular. Bollywood actors Shah Rukh Khan and Sonam Kapoor graciously hosted grand soirées at their respective abodes, making Beckham's Indian experience truly unforgettable.

A Night to Remember at Mannat

Shah Rukh Khan, the 'Badshah' of Bollywood, played the perfect host, throwing a private gala for Beckham at his opulent abode, Mannat. He shared a heartwarming post alongside Shah Rukh Khan, acknowledging the privilege of being welcomed into the actor's home

He expressed his gratitude, writing, "Honoured to have been welcomed into this great man’s home. To enjoy a meal with @iamsrk, @gaurikhan, their beautiful children and close friends – what a special way to end my first visit to India... Thank you my friend – you and your family are welcome any time in my home…"

Sonam Kapoor's Extravaganza

Equally enchanting was the lavish affair hosted by Bollywood's fashionista, Sonam Kapoor, and her husband, Anand Ahuja. The Kapoor residence witnessed a star-studded gathering attended by the who's who of the industry, including Malaika Arora, Shahid Kapoor, Mira Rajput, Farhan Akhtar, and Shibani Dandekar.

 Beckham, visibly touched by the warmth and kindness extended to him, conveyed his appreciation on social media, "@sonamkapoor and @anandahuja - you hosted me with such warmth and kindness this week, thank you for the amazing evening you created at your home - see you again soon."

As the English footballer closed his trip by gracing Mannat with his presence, he was warmly hosted by Shah Rukh Khan and his wife Gauri Khan, who posted on Instagram about hosting the "legendary footballer" and thanked Sonam Kapoor for the delight, while Sonam Kapoor thanked her in the comments.

The football legend also shared food stories on his Instagram from his invitation from Sonam Kapoor to host him, as he appreciated Indian food in each story. 

The ace footballer was also invited by the Ambani family to their residence in Antillia, was also hosted by Sara Ali Khan at Meta Mumbai headquarters, and was warmly welcomed by many content creators. 

David Beckham in India

David Beckham is currently visiting India as a Global Ambassador for UNICEF. He has been interacting with the locals, especially children, to understand the state of the action and contribute towards advocating for child rights and gender equality. The football legend visited Gujarat recently and posted several pictures with heartwarming captions on his social media.

Beckham also played a game of football with the children there. "Had lots of fun together," he said, adding that he had a great learning experience with the children.

Sharing more pictures from his visit, Beckham wrote, "An incredibly special few days with @unicef here in Gujarat 🇮 It’s a great privilege to see first-hand the work Unicef is doing on the ground to support children and their families. The energy and innovation I have seen here have been so inspiring and I loved hearing the children’s stories and their hopes and dreams for the future. When we empower young people, we see the change they can bring to their communities. @unicefindia."

David Beckham meets Indian Cricketers

Beckham is currently in Mumbai for the first semifinal of the ongoing cricket World Cup between India and New Zealand at Wankhede Stadium. He had a rendezvous with former Indian cricket captains Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli, and also met and wished the rest of the Indian team luck before the game.
