 Sonakshi Sinha is reportedly facing legal woes. She has been accused of skipping an event in Delhi for which she had charged Rs 37 lakh in advance, according to sources. Her manager is said to have refused to give the money back to the event organiser.

Here's everything we know so far about Sonakshi Sinha fraud case:

- According to a news report, Sonakshi Sinha was invited as the chief guest to an event in Delhi by event organiser Pramod Sharma, a resident of Moradabad's Katghar police station area.

- The actor did not show up at the said event. Sonakshi's manager allegedly refused to pay Pramod Sharma when he demanded his money back.

- As a result, in the Uttar Pradesh district of Moradabad, the event organiser filed a fraud complaint against her.

- According to reports, in the police complaint, Pramod claimed that the money was deposited into Sonakshi's account for her attendance at the event, but she did not show up.

- The actor had reportedly signed a memorandum of understanding for the event but later she asked for a change in the event's timing on the day of the event. And as per reports, the actor is said to have dropped out after the organisers failed to comply with this demand.

- According to recent reports, the actor has been summoned to appear in a Moradabad court in Uttar Pradesh next month in connection with a 2019 fraud case.

- In the fraud case, a Moradabad court has reportedly issued a non-bailable warrant against the actor. In addition, the court has ordered Sinha to appear in court on April 25.

- According to reports, Sinha travelled to Moradabad to record her statement in this case. She, on the other hand, stayed missing throughout, prompting the court to issue a warrant for her arrest.

- The actor is yet to respond to the situation.

Sinha began her career in Bollywood in 2010 as "Rajjo Pandey" in the action-drama film Dabangg, after working as a costume designer for independent films. She was last seen in Bhuj: The Pride of India (2021). Sonakshi Sinha's next film, Kakuda, is a horror comedy that will be released soon. Riteish Deshmukh and Saqib Saleem also had roles in the film. She recently returned from the "Da-Bangg" tour, which featured Salman Khan, Disha Patani, Pooja Hegde, and others. Sonakshi next appears in the film Double XL, which also stars Huma Qureshi.
