Sohail Khan And Seema Khan File For Divorce After 24 Years Of Marriage

After 24 years of marriage, actor Sohail Khan and Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives fame Seema Khan are filing for divorce. The couple was spotted leaving the family court in Mumbai on May 13. The couple has two children together. They were present today on the fourth floor of the family court complex, where they appeared in front of Judge Maqdoom for the verification process on their divorce application.

An unnamed source from the court told ETimes that the celebrity couple was present at the court and have filed for divorce. "Both were friendly towards each other," the unnamed source said.

The two had gotten married in the year 1998. They are parents to two children named--Nirvaan and Yohan. The reports of their divorce have spread like wildfire. Although neither of them has posted anything in relation to the divorce announcement or given a statement to news publications.

The couple had their first child son Nirvan Khan in 2000 and in June 2011, they welcomed their second son Yohan through surrogacy. Sohail and Seema first met during the shoots of Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya. Seema was a resident of Delhi, who had come to Mumbai to pursue her career in fashion designing.

Post their meet up, the two started dating and soon decided to tie the knot. Seema's family did not approve of the match and the two reportedly ran away from home to get married secretly.

Although, there were reports on the couple heading to divorce back in 2017 as well. Even in the show The Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives, the two were shown living separately, while their kids shuffled from one house to another. During the reality show that can be watched on Netflix, Seema talked briefly about her relationship with Sohail.

She said, "It's just that sometimes when you grow older, your relationships meanders and goes into different directions. I make no apologies about it because we are happy and my kids are happy. Sohail and I are not a conventional marriage but we are a family. We are a unit. For us, he and me and our children matter at the end of the day."
