Then there is Anand, a self-centred doctor who always puts his own interest above that of others and returns to his village to open a clinic along with his friend Rama Rao. For Gauri, Anand and Ramarao, the news of NASA's Skylab crashing on earth presents an opportunity that could change their fate for good. But what will it cost the innocent and oblivious villagers?

True origins of a fictional comedy

In 1979, NASA's space station Skylab crashed on earth scattering parts across the Indian ocean. The news of Skylab's impeding crash had created mass hysteria among people of the southern hemisphere as there was no clarity about when and where the debris would fall. On July 11, 1979, when Skylab's debris actually fell on earth, it was scattered d across a sparsely populated 150 km wide section of Western Australia, as per a report by Forbes.
