Sidharth Shehnaaz relationship: Actor Sidharth Shukla died of a heart attack on Thursday, Sep 02 in Mumbai's Cooper hospital. He was well-known for his roles in Balika Vadhu, Dil Se Dil Tak, etc. Shukla emerged as the winner of the reality show Bigg Boss Season 13. He got into a relationship with a fellow participant and actor Shehnaaz Gill in the show. Their fans lovingly gave them the name SidNaaz.

Sidharth Shehnaaz relationship and rumours

Sidharth Shukla and Shehnaaz Gill's alleged relationship started on the sets of Bigg Boss 13. However, they didn't confirm it initially. But later, the actor and winner of Bigg Boss Season 8 revealed in an interview that Shukla and Gill were a couple. Even when Shukla and Gill came on a Sunday ka Vaar episode on Bigg Boss OTT, the former confirmed their relationship. He said that he was excited about entering the show with his "best friend" Shehnaaz Gill. The couple also addressed the bizarre rumours of living-in and break up they were hearing.

Shukla further said that his Bigg Boss journey held a special place in his heart. It gave him back his identity and the audience got to know the real Sidharth through the show. He added that it would not have been the way it was without Shehnaaz and everyone who supported him wholeheartedly.

On-screen appearances

Besides Bigg Boss, the couple has also appeared in the music video Bhula Dunga by Darshan Raval. The song encapsulated a modern-day romance. It begins with Gill leaving Shukla as he stands still hoping for her to return. The video shows Shukla reminiscing over the old times. The music video takes a surprising turn when Gill walks back to him but he walks away.

A one-hour special show titled Silsila SidNaaz Ka captures the Sidharth Shehnaaz relationship and presents it to their fans. The show uses footage of their fun moments from Bigg Boss. It also covers the times the two got engaged in fights and how they were finally drawn to one another. It tells their story from having a usual cordial relationship to Gill claiming 'Sidharth Mera Hai'. At one point, the Balika Vadhu actor opened up about his bond with her. He said that she brought positive energy in him and he liked spending time with her. Shukla also called her "a friend for life".

Shehnaaz Gill on Sidharth Shukla's death

There has been no update from Shehnaaz Gill after Sidharth Shukla's death. However, reports say that she was in the middle of a shoot when she received the news of Gill's death. After hearing the news, she left the spot. Talking to Aaj Tak, Shukla's colleague and former Bigg Boss contestant Sana Khan said that Gill is heartbroken and she could imagine her pain.
