Shweta Tiwari's web series Showstopper landed in a controversy with the lead actor's statement at a press conference in Bhopal, on January 27. She has now clarified that the statement was taken out of context. She added the statement was around one of the characters from her upcoming web series Showstopper.
A video of Shweta saying, "Meri bra ka size bhagwan le rahe hain," went viral which was said at the press presentation for her next web series, when she was joined on stage by co-stars Rohit Roy, Digangana Suryavanshi, and Sourabh Raaj Jain, among others.

In the Star Plus TV series Ek Veer Ki Ardaas...Veera, she played Veera Kaur Sampooran Singh.
