Earlier this year in March, Ghoshal had announced her pregnancy to fans with the picture of a baby bump. "Baby #Shreyaditya is on its way! @shiladitya and me are thrilled to share this news with you all," she had written.
In successive days, the 37-year-old documented the days of her first pregnancy, through birthdays, award shows and festivals. She marked the arrival of her son on May 22, saying, "It’s an emotion never felt before."

In April, her friends threw her an online baby shower about which she said on social media, "When friends decide to pamper you even from a distance😭😍♥️ Online surprise baby shower from my cutest ‘Baawris’ ♥️🤗 Everyone cooked something, or made something hand made, sent in a platter, plenty fun and games🤪.. How lucky am I!"
Ghoshal and Mukhopadhyaya married in 2015 after, reports say, having known each other for a long time. Mukhopadhyaya is a tech entrepreneur and podcast host. He makes appearances on several online panels about business, economics and finance.
The couple, through the second wave of the pandemic in India, have been sharing COVID-19 resources on their social media handles on Twitter. Here are other celebrities who were engaged in relief work.
