Shreya Ghoshal pregnant: Singer Shreya Ghoshal announced today that she is expecting her first baby with her businessman husband Shiladitya Mukhopadhyaya. She took to her social media handle and posted a picture, writing, "Baby #Shreyaditya is on its way! @shiladitya and me are thrilled to share this news with you all. Need all your love and blessings as we prepare ourselves for this new chapter in our lives."

In the announcement picture, the singer can be seen cradling her baby bump while sporting a multi-coloured printed dress.
Ghoshal, who has been part of the music industry for almost two decades, got married to her childhood friend Mukhopadhyaya at an intimate wedding six years ago. On February 5, 2015, the duo l tied the knot after dating each other for a long time. Announcing it on social media with a picture from the festivities, Ghoshal wrote, "Married the love of my life @shiladitya last night surrounded by our families n close friends, exciting new life awaits"
In 2016, reports started making the rounds that the couple were expecting their first child. But, Shreya Ghoshal had quashed all rumours by tweeting, "Ok, I seriously need to clarify now. Thought keeping silent would bury the rumour on itself. But it's not:/ I AM NOT PREGNANT!!"
Last year, the couple celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary and the playback singer went on to share some throwback snaps from her wedding. In one of the shared pictures from a ceremony, the National Award-winning singer could be seen wearing a red Banarasi saree, with gold jewellery and red-white bangles.
"5 years.. Time flies..," she wrote on Instagram, sharing the stunning photo. Explaining how lockdown has been keeping her busy, including making new music with her brother, Soumyadeep Ghoshal, the singer told Hindustan Times, “Things happen when you want them to happen. The lockdown and quarantine last year made me go into an introspective mode and think what I really want to do musically. This idea stemmed from there. I want to do something which would make me foray in my roots in classical music. I want to take it forward to the generation that follows me. I didn’t want to make it sound like a clichéd classical piece, but a new age experience."
