What happens when the brightest officers of the Indian armed forces come together to protect our country from a looming threat? Well, the new Disney+ Hotstar original show Shoorveer brings audiences just that! The show's plot revolves around an Elite Task Force which consists of the best personnel from the Armed forces--Air Force, Navy and Amy--who are tasked with dealing with the fringe elements and averting the security risk.
The show will focus on stealthy operations, intense military training, air combat and intelligence training; with it, the story will also focus on the humane aspects of the soldiers who are part of the task force.
Created by Samar Khan and directed by Kanishk Varma, the action drama will reportedly release on the streaming platform in seven languages: Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Bengali. The streaming platform announced the show and released a teaser on social media which shows action-pack sequences.
While speaking to the media, the show's director said that shooting the series has been an "amazing journey" and that he has received all the support from the OTT Platform. He was quoted as saying, "It’s been one of the toughest shows but seeing it all come together on screen has been a truly satisfying experience. The show's highlight remains its aerial combat sequences which have never been seen on the Indian screen."

The multilingual series' ensemble cast is replete with talented actors like Makarand Deshpande, Tamil film actor Regina Cassandra, Armaan Ralhan, Manis Chaudhari, Aadil Khan, Abhishek Saha, Anjali Barot, Kuldeep Sareen, Arif Zakaria, Faisal Rashid, Sahil Mehta and Shivya Pathani
While speaking about the show, a member of the cast, actor Makarand said, "Shoorveer brings together the best of the army, navy and air force which got me interested in the story. Manish Chaudhary and my character are to make this team the best defence force in India and keep them as our first line of defence. While filming the series it was an amazing journey of learning and unlearning things from all the talented actors. I am really thrilled for the series to release on Disney+ Hotstar as it gives us an opportunity to reach a wider audience across the globe."
